Much like a broiler burn, the top skin succombs to the detergent or chemical and the lower layers begin to send up all of its reserve in water, pus, blood, antibodies, collagen and dna repair and collagen bands. When you use strong watered down TCA your skin will turn brown and die off, however there is no proof of regenerative skincells within the epidemal wall/lining.

Q. How is the EZPeel different from other peels?
A. Obsolete peels of the past, without exception, epitomize the no pain, no gain approach to skin care. Q. What types of skin respond well to the EZPeel?

Q. How much preconditioning of the skin is required?
A. The EZPeel requires no preconditioning of the skin associated with older generation peels that can take three to five months.

Q. Does it burn?
A. Not really. Patients will feel a slight stinging sensation for a few seconds which subsides completely almost immediately. The EZPeel is applied topically, and numbing of the skin takes place after the first pass. Some patients may feel more comfortable using a fan or cold air breeze.

Q. How badly will the patient peel?
A. The skin peeling associated with the EZPeel is a light, fluffy peel that will start on day three and generally be finished by the end of day four. The peeling is easily hidden by moisturizer. In some cases, the peel is virtually invisible.

Q. What will the patient look like right after the EZPeel and during the next few days?
A. The skin will look slightly tan to red immediately after the peel. On days one and two the skin will feel slightly tighter with no visible signs of having had a peel except for looking slightly tan, as if the patient just returned from a relaxing weekend at a resort. Any pigmented areas might appear somewhat darker, which is a good sign. On about day three, the patient begins to peel. The first signs of peeling usually begin around the mouth area, continuing for a day or two. By day six or day seven the patient is done peeling and the results are dramatic!

Q. What about normal activities after the EZPeel?
A. There are no restrictions. Normal activities can be resumed immediately after the peel.

Q. What will the EZPeel do for the patients skin?
A. It uses the synergy of all available and known modes of action of various acids to produce a multitude of positive effects. It tackles skin problems at the cellular level rather than just burning skin off. Thanks to the synergistic actions of its many acids and vitamins, the EZPeel helps erase fine lines and wrinkles, minimize pore appearance and build collagen and elastin which tighten skin. It is extremely effective in reducing or eliminating hyper pigmentation including melasma, the most difficult pigmentation issue to address.

The EZPeel also provides excellent results for patients with acne.

Q. How many peels are needed?
A. The peel may be repeated as often as every two weeks, if necessary, for damaged skin. Our recommendation for average skin would be once every three months to prevent damage and the underlying aging of the skin. The physician will evaluate the patients damage, goals and expectations and make an appropriate recommendation for ongoing skin care.

Q. My patient has a social event coming up. Can she wear makeup after the EZPeel?
A. While the long term goal is to eliminate the need to use any makeup, it may be worn at any time after the peel solution has dried. Makeup should not be applied on the days that the skin is peeling, just moisturizer. Makeup can then be resumed at any time after the skin peels.

Q. What about the hands or chest?
A. The EZPeel is extremely effective in removing sunspots from the hands and chest and eliminating the wrinkles associated with sun damage on the dcolletage. The physician will customize the application for each patient.

Q. How long will the EZPeel take?
A. Its as easy as 3-4-7. With a single 3-4 minute application, 100% guaranteed results are dramatic in just seven days!

Q. What kind of final results will the patient see after a single EZPeel?
A. It takes about four days after the patient finishes peeling for the skin to return to its normal PH and to see the final effects. The skin will look luminous and glowing. The patient will feel refreshed with slightly tighter skin. Hyper-pigmentation will be improved or gone, depending on the amount of damage. Texture will be improved with an overall more youthful appearance. You will have a very happy patient.

Q. What should be used on the skin in conjunction with the EZPeel?
A. Our first line of defense is tretinoin, with a prescription line of products that takes the patient through the necessary steps of maintaining new skin. The EZPeel Skin Care System should be used on a daily basis for best results.

Q. Does the EZPeel make the skin thinner?
A. No. By sloughing off the old skin, forcing the body to recreate new skin at a faster rate in a sequence faster than its own rate, the skin actually thickens, stimulating the underlying structure to make more collagen and elastin.

Q. Will the patients skin be more sensitive after the EZPeel?
A. The skin will only be more sensitive, if at all, during the peeling process itself. The patient may experience up to four days of sensitivity until PH of the skin is replenished.

Q. Will the EZPeel tighten neck skin?
A. The skin on the neck responds well. The EZPeel has proven to help improve texture and quality with gradual softening of the lines and some tightening effects.

Q. What other areas can the EZPeel be performed on?
A. Face, neck, hands and chest all respond well to a EZPeel.

Q. Can the patient go in the sun after the EZPeel?
A. Sun exposure should be limited and adequate protection with a good sunscreen should be used. As part of the EZPeel Skin Care System, sunscreen is provided to the patient along with moisturizer. However, the EZPeel was created to be practical. The only days where exposure to the sun should be seriously avoided are days three and four, when the skin is peeling, to avoid uneven exposure. After that, the patient can enjoy moderate sun exposure.

Q. What about exercise after the EZPeel?
A. Again, the EZPeel was created to be practical. We only ask that the solution be left on the skin for five hours prior to exercising, washing it off immediately before commencing exercise.

Q. Can cold sore sufferers have a EZPeel?
A. Of course. In some cases, the physician may recommend pre-medication prior to the peel. If the patient breaks out with a sudden cold sore the day of the peel, often the EZPeel will eliminate the sore and medication may be started concurrently.

Q. Are teenage acne sufferers too young for the  EZPeel and would it help their acne?
A. We originally formulated the EZPeel for his 15 year old daughter, an acne sufferer. The peel is excellent for both adult and adolescent acne. We have effectively peeled acne patients as young as twelve years old. Results are quick and very impressive. Combined with a daily skin regimen, almost all acne cases can be readily and safely managed.

Q. Does the EZPeel help with precancerous cells?
A. Yes, the EZPeel, like many other peels, helps to remove precancerous cells. Of course, a patient with a history of skin cancer should always see their dermatologist or surgeon on a regular basis.

We highly suggest that you also use our Hyaluronic Acid Serum for post care and as a regular regimen.

ANAIS theory is to PEEL more than you HEAL!!!
Anything over 15% is getting too close to the frost line. The trick behind an awesome peel is to FOOL the skin into secreting a TON of natural collagen and elastin to the effected area. BUT! If you DO burn you skin, using high doses (some are very unreputable), then ALL of that natural protein becomes WOUND REPAIR and it will have NO benefit to your new skin growth, for it is used up on trying to HEAL the skin that is in trauma.

The second benefit of facial resurfacing that is done CORRECTLY is the SURGE of collagen and elastin that occurs post peel. You may see some crafty sellers hawking 30-50% TCA peels all over the internet.
The concept of resurfacing is LOST on this type of peel because the skin spends MORE TIME HEALING, than it does peeling.
A peel done correctly is a proven theory of abrading just enough of the stratum corneum to cause the skin to send valuable protein to the surface. When you FROST the skin too deeply, your body goes into WOUND REPAIR MODE where it creates antibodies, scar tissue, melanin and other secretions which MAY easily cause the skin to age faster! Melanin is produced when you tan, and when you are wounded and when you have surges of progesterone (hormonal hyperpigmentation). When you go too deep into the epidermis or subcutis layers by using high doses of a caustic chemical, your skin produces HEALING PROTEIN to bandage the chemical peel.

The concept of resurfacing the epidermis (face) has been around for many years. 20 years ago,  plastic surgeons were doing WIRE DERMABRASION techniques that removed the stratum corneum and about 10-20 full micron of skin. The healing process was devastating for most patients. They suffered from hyper(dark) and hypo (white) pigmentation and an uneven skin surface.
  In the last 20 years and have perfected the technique of LASER RESURFACING.
However it is STILL both expensive and has a 4 month healing process.

Most people cannot GO 4 months without working or being seen in public.
The concept of resurfacing the skin using A MILDER technique of facial resurfacing is one that is benefical in TWO very specific ways. By abrading (killing and removing) small amounts of skin, about .01-.03 micron per treatment, you will expose SMOOTHER skin after just ONE result.

ANAIS Lunch peel is like a slow laser resurfacing treatment, one that even with my microdermabrader, I could NEVER MATCH because at one sitting, I'm taking off .01 micron, whereas the skincare products are a slow transdermal delivery removing a safe .03 micron per 4-6 days. Since it is ongoing, the new skincell turnover is so RAPID, the anti aging benefits are HUGE. I have had numerous TCA and Jessners peels before performed in a Dr.'s Office to treat my melasma.  I decided to try it on my own and the EZ peel Kit works wonders.  I did one VERY light coat over the melasma areas. (Nervous about the strength since it wasn't mentioned I did one coat very lightly) It is day 7 and my treated skin is flaking (not really peeling).  The melasma has faded and my skin overall looks healthy.  When I applied the TCA, it did not burn as it did in the Dr.'s Office.  There was a tingle and I used a small fan to cool it off.  Overall I am very happy with the EZ peel kit.  Just use caution when applying and follow the instructions.
